　　2.1如何到达广州 ARRIVAL

　　外国参赛运动员乘搭国际航班到达广州白云国际机场后，由南粤古驿道定向大赛组委会安排赛事接送大巴接送往返赛事接待酒店。（12月15日15:00在广州白云国际机场接机前往肇庆接待酒店，12月21日10:00从赛场发车送回广州白云国际机场）

　　Foreign participants are suggested arriving at Guangzhou Baiyun International Airport on 15/12/2018. Shuttle buses will be arranged to/from the Airport and the official hotel in Zhaoqing for free by the Organizer. (Departure time of the shuttle buses from the Airport to the official hotel on 15/12/2018 will be at 3:00pm while departure time from the competition venue to the Airport on 21/12/2018 will be at 10:00am.)

　　2.2赛事中心 EVENT CENTRE

　　大会安排赛事接驳车免费从接待酒店到赛事中心来回接送。

　　Free shuttle buses will be arranged to/from the official hotel and the event center.

　　2.3签证VISA

　　按照目前的规定，一些国家的公民必须获得签证才能进入中国。

　　请根据各自情况办理中国签证。如需要邀请函，请电邮至htochina@yahoo.com与工作人员联系。

　　In accordance with current state regulations, some citizens of other countries must apply for a visa to enter China. Please confirm the necessity for the visa application. 

　　Invitation letter from the Organizer will be issued upon request. Please contact our staff via email htochina@yahoo.com for further inquiry.

　　4.组别及奖项颁发 CLASSES & AWARDS

　　4.1组别 CLASSES

　　4.1.1世界排位组：WRE

　　参赛单位为中国定向运动协会团体会员单位；

　　The participating club or federation shall be the member of the China Orienteering Association.

　　WRE-M/WRE-W（世界排位赛欢迎各国精英运动员参加，需提供IOF ID。

　　如有需要，参加者可到以下链接https://eventor.orienteering.org/Register注册IOF ID）

　　Welcome all elite runners around the world to join the WRE.

　　The runners shall provide the IOF ID when he/she registers.

　　If necessary, please sign up for IOF ID via the following website: https://eventor.orienteering.org/Register 

　　参赛资格符合下列条件之一者（仅适合国内运动员）：

　　Eligible runners shall comply with the following requirements（only for Chinese runners）:

　　（1）获得2018年全国定向锦标赛M21E、W21E、M18E、W18E组前20及M21A、W21A、M18A、W18A、GM、GW组前10名的运动员；

　　Elite runners who won the first 20 places in M21E、W21E、M18E、W18E or the first 10 places in M21A、W21A、M18A、W18A、GM、GW of the 2018 China Orienteering Championships.

　　（2）参加2018年全国定向冠军赛精英组并完赛的，经中国定向运动协会批准的运动员；

　　Runners who completed Elite Class races of 2018 China Elite Orienteering Championships and clarified by China Orienteering Association.

　　（3）2018年国家定向集训队、国家青年定向集训队运动员；

　　Runners who are training in the National Orienteering Team or the National Junior Orienteering Team in 2018.

　　（4）参加2017年南粤古驿道定向大赛精英组别、2018年南粤古驿道定向大赛M/W21、M/W18组别短距离、中距离个人比赛项目并获得前6名的运动员；

　　Runners who participated in Elite class of sprint or middle distance of 2017/2018 Guangdong Historical Road Orienteering Championships and rewarded the first 6 places.

　　（5）参加2018年省、自治区、直辖市体育主管部门主办的锦标赛或冠军赛16岁（含）以上组别短距离、中距离或长距离比赛项目并获得第1名的运动员；

　　Runners who participated in any provincial championships races, including sprint, middle or long distance races with classes of 16-years-old or above and won the first place.

　　（6）参加国际定联组织的国际赛事精英组并完赛的，经中国定向运动协会批准的运动员；

　　Runners who completed Elite Class races of any IOF events and clarified by China Orienteering Association.

　　（7）经中国定向运动协会批准的解放军及武警部队运动员；

　　CAPF Runners who are clarified by China Orienteering Association.

　　（8）经中国定向运动协会批准的港澳台地区的运动员。

　　Runners from Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan who are clarified by China Orienteering Association.

　　4.1.2南粤古驿道组别　Guangdong Historical Road Orienteering（GHRO）

　　精英组 ELITE：ME/WE

　　公开组OPEN: M/W8、M/W10、M/W12、M/W14、M/W16、M/W18、M/W20、M/W21、M/W35、M/W40、M/W45、M/W50

　　体验组 EXPERIENCE：CATI/FAMILY/LOVERS

　　4.2奖项 AWARDS

　　（1）每场世界排位赛均设WRE-M/WRE-W组前六名奖金，不论国籍。并录取前三名颁发证书奖牌奖杯，第四到第八名颁发证书奖牌。

　　The first 6 places in World Ranking Event Men & Women’s classes will be rewarded in each event regardless of nationalities. Trophies, medals and certificates will be rewarded to the first 3 places while medals and certificates will be rewarded to the 4th to 8th places in each event.

　　（2）古驿道总决赛精英组M/WE：各项录取前三名颁发证书奖牌奖杯，第四到第八名颁发证书奖牌。

　　For elite class in Guangdong Historical Road Orienteering, trophies, medals and certificates will be rewarded to the first 3 places while medals and certificates will be rewarded to the 4th to 8th places in each event.

　　（3）公开组/体验组：各项录取前三名颁发证书。

　　For non-elite classes, certificates will be rewarded to participants in the first 3 places in each event.

　　（4）所有组别运动员按照比赛规则在规定时间内成功完成上午比赛，可在主会场领取完赛证书和完赛奖牌。

　　All participants will be rewarded the complementary medals and certificates upon the completion of the event within the effective time.

　　5. 竞赛规则 COMPETITION RULES

　　赛事采用国际定向联合会的徒步定向竞赛规则及中国徒步定向运动竞赛规则。

　　The competitions will be organized in accordance with the IOF Competition Rules and Competition by-law from China Orienteering Association.

　　6. 赛事禁区 EMBARGOED AREA

　　所有比赛赛区由即日起列为赛事禁区，在赛前不允许进入，详见下图。

　　All competition areas listed as following are embargoed with immediate effect.

　　 （1）16/12/2018, Sunday, Yanzhou Island, Zhaoqing

　　（2）18/12/2018, Tuesday, Sanjiang village, Foshan

　　（3）18/12/2018, Tuesday, Daqitou village, Foshan

　　（4）20/12/2018, Thursday, Baishuizai Scenic Spots, Guangzhou

　　7. 食宿 ACCOMMODATION & MEALS

　　在赛事期间，外国运动员统一由大会安排食宿,具体标准详见赛事2号公告。

　　During the Competition, accommodation and three meals per day will be offered to all foreign participants by the Organizer. Detailed information will be published in Bulletin 2.

　　备注：大会提供外国运动员50个免费食宿名额，采用先报先得方式；另提供国内运动员（含港澳台地区）世界排位组、精英组及公开组150个收费食宿名额，每场100元/人，先报先得，额满即止。

Remarks: Free accommodation and meals will be offered to 50 foreign runners who have the earliest registration. While accommodation and meals charge 100 yuan for one event to 150 Chinese runners (including Hong Kong, Macau &Taiwan) in WRE，elite or open class on a first-come first served basis.

　　8. 比赛 COMPETITION

　　8.1 地图 MAP

　　使用国际定向运动地图规范(ISOM2017/ISSOM2007)最新绘制的彩色地图。

　　Maps complied with International Standards for Orienteering Maps (ISOM 2017 and ISSOM 2007) will be used for all events.

　　8.2地图描述 TERRAIN

　　（1）团队赛/短距离赛—肇庆鼎湖砚洲岛

　　地形平坦，主要建筑为老村落，巷道比较狭窄；主要的农作物是香蕉、果蔬；香蕉林可以单向较快速度奔跑，果蔬种植地（耕地）难以通行。河边大片的草地布满小水凹，增添了场地的独特性。

　　Group Race/Sprint-Yanzhou Island, Zhaoqing

　　located here are ancient villages mainly with traditional architectural styles. The alleys are quite narrow and the terrain is plain. Local crops are bananas, fruits and vegetable. For banana forest it’s easy to do an one-way fast running but for farmland it’s difficult to go through. A stretch of grassland with puddles by the river is a special terrain found in this island. 

　　（2）短距离赛—佛山三江村（WRE）

　　古村落，老建筑群为主，铺砖、水泥地面，巷道比较狭窄，四通八达，地势有小许起伏。

　　Sprint (WRE)- Sanjiang village, Foshan

　　located here are ancient villages mainly with traditional architectural styles. The alleys are quite narrow but easy to cut across, made of bricks and cement. The terrain is a little rough.

　　（3）短距离赛—佛山大旗头村

　　古村落，新旧建筑群结合，巷道狭窄，铺砖、水泥地面，地形平坦，有部分耕地、小树林和鱼塘。

　　Sprint - Daqitou village, Foshan

　　located here are ancient villages with both traditional and modern architectural styles. The alleys are narrow, made of bricks and cement. The terrain is plain, part of which is composed of ploughs, groves and fish ponds.

　　（4）短距离赛—广州增城白水寨风景名胜景区（WRE）

　　主要为村落、荔枝林和耕地，村落部分为硬化地面，地形为平地和山坡，落差约40米，荔枝林可通行。

　　Sprint (WRE)- Baishuizai Scenic Spots, Guangzhou 

　　It is mainly composed of villages, lychee forests and ploughs. The ground in villages are hardened. The terrain is divided into flatland and hillside with a drop  about 40 meters. While the lychee forest can go through.

　　8.3着装建议 Dressing Suggestion

　　关于服装没有规定，短距离赛和团队赛适合穿着马拉松鞋和越野跑鞋，不适合穿钉鞋。

　　There are no requirements for dressing. Cross-country shoes and marathon shoes are highly recommended for sprint and group races. Spike shoes are not suggested.

　　8.4电子打孔及计时系统 ELECTRONIC PUNCHING & TIMING SYSTEM

　　所有赛事将采用SPORTident电子打孔及计时系统，参加者须在报名时填写自备的SI-Card编号。组委会亦备有电子控制卡可供海外赛员免费租借，押金为RMB￥500元/个，赛后退还。

　　The SPORTident Electronic Punching and Timing system will be used in the competitions. Runners should fill in their SI-card number at the entry. Foreign runners can use their own SI-card or rent from the organizer with a deposit of RMB500 each which will be refunded upon returning back after the races.

　　8.5气候 CLIMATE

　　广东地处亚热带沿海属海洋性亚热带季风气候，12月为阴凉的冬季。12月的平均气温是16℃，最冷的天气可以达到7℃。

　　Guangdong maintains a subtropical Oceanic monsoon climate. It is wet and cool normally in December. The average temperature in December is about 16℃, with the lowest temperature 7℃.
